The Párisi Udvar, one of the city's most unique architectural legacies, came to life through the collaboration of a massive team. For our studio, the main goal was to ensure that the interior design of this building, completed in 1913 and declared a historic monument, reflects the richly decorated original elements and adds new functions for today's visitors.
We've woven new functions into the dense fabric of historic arches, Moorish motifs, Art Nouveau glass domes, and Zsolnay ceramics, all while keeping the focus on preserving the original spatial experience.
“They've struck the perfect balance between the style elements of the Párisi Udvar and modern luxury features, so thanks to Kroki Studio, the past and present have blended beautifully in one of Budapest's most iconic buildings.”
